Requirements and Liability: The signatory declares to be over 18 years old and takes full responsibility for all equipment, as well as ensuring that minors ride under the sole responsibility and supervision of their legal guardians.
Use and Maintenance: The client receives the equipment in perfect condition and must return it in the same state. It is mandatory to use a lock if the bicycle is out of sight, and it is strictly forbidden to tamper with the motor, battery, or electrical system of the bicycles.
Traffic Regulations and Health: The user declares to be in optimal health and physical condition for cycling. Compliance with traffic laws is mandatory. In Sitges, riding on sidewalks and pedestrian zones is prohibited. Helmets are mandatory for minors under 16 on any road, and for adults on interurban roads. KILI is not liable for accidents caused by lack of skill, user negligence, or unforeseen circumstances.
Incident Resolution: In the event of a bicycle breakdown, KILI must be notified, and the bicycle must be guarded until it is collected. In case of personal injury, contact KILI and, if serious, call 112 directly. In case of theft or loss of the bicycle, a police report must be filed, and a copy delivered to KILI (along with the damaged lock, if applicable). The client will cover all expenses arising from the repair of mechanical breakdowns resulting from improper use or care of the bicycle, as well as fines, towing services, impound fees, and recovery costs due to reasons beyond KILI’s control, and must pay the market value of the bicycle in case of theft or loss.

For the resolution of any conflict arising from it, the parties submit to the Jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Vilanova i la Geltrú (Barcelona).
